The problem today is that about 80% of business owners simply don't have the time to setup their online advertising systems and web presence.  Chambers of Commerce understand to properly promote their community they must get all of their members online.  Once complete, the Chamber creates a powerful local aggregated group of businesses and organizations that can be properly indexed on search engines, mobile phone sites, "shop local" is manageable and then everyone is optimized for local search through the membership (or contributor) directory.

Non-Profit organizations who depend on fundraising, or local schools partner with the Chamber of Commerce using the EcTownUSA and Donation Automation systems.  The systems are able to connect to schools and non-profits in order to create an assembly line for placing local businesses online for a very small donation.  In many cases the setup is actually included in the membership fee, or in exchange for their donation (Patents are Pending).
